Adobe's forums are provided for discussing Adobe's products, specifically the Acrobat SDK in this case -- not a place to get help developing rivals to them.

 

That said, Adobe do offer one forum where this would be on topic: http://forums.adobe.com/community/design_development/pdf_language_and_ specifications

 

However, I would add that the rules for white space are explicit in 32000-1 and you must follow them EXACTLY. An encoded stream has a good chance that the first encoded byte will look like white space so don't follow your instincts, follow the spec. And you need to understand that a PDF file - and every other file - is a stream of "numbers" i.e. 8 bit bytes, already, no conversion is needed and you must make sure no change takes place.
