Following that logic, you might as well disable http: links – I understand they too could be dangerous.
I am talking about custom protocols that are already registered in Windows; if they are malicious – the system is already compromised.
Could you please point me to an official Adobe statement (release notes or something like that) that I could show to my product management team and, most importantly, to our customers, that describes discontinuation of this feature?
Is there a suggested strategy / workaround? Is there a “white list” of protocols that Adobe passes through?
