Since the folder was there by default in version 9, I'm sure a lot of developers wrote scripts assuming they wouldn't have to check for its presence. So I guess a lot of custom scripts broke when the users upgraded, and that's OK?
This is my initial foray into the Adobe world, so I'm not used to their standard upgrade practices. I have to say that I find this one pretty insensitive.
