Re: Page Size Property Not Matching Actual Page Size

I'm using the IAC API for Acrobat. My Excel VBA code has used two methods for extracting both the Number of Pages and now Page Size, but I have settled on using the Acrobat Reference functions bundlied in VBA .

I can supply code if needed, but, my code is happily and accurately grabbing whatever value is displayed in the Properties page of the specific PDF file. If it says "5.58", then that is what I get using my code. Ideally, the page size really should be reporting "5", as that is the actual page size. I can justify the extra .5 if we include the bleed dimensions stated in the InDesign source files, but I just can't explain the extra .08.

And bottom line, I'd be happiest if the Page Size property in Acrobat didn't include any of the extra bleed or margin (or whatever this value is!) values.  Or, if I could somehow expose all the values Acrobat is using to come up with "5.58", I could probabl strip out the extra values and just get the "real" paper/page size. Based on what little I know of the API, I don't think that is going to happen!

Thanks for your interest!

Terry
