Which API would that be? Adobe does not provide an API for the name of the window instance.
While I understand that you have a process that relies on this name, you are doing something that Adobe does not support. As you have seen, we change that name based on various criteria and we may change it again.
I STRONGLY recommend that you find another approach to your problem. And if you explain what you are trying to accomplish (why you need the window instance in the first place - what you do after you have it), then perhaps we can offer you a supported approach.
