By the way, the page may be blank because
- there are no contents
- the size is too large or too small (implementation limit)
- image is placed off page by CTM
- image is scaled too small by CTM
These ones may be obvious. Less obvious
- there may be a syntax error in the page which causes rendering to stop without an error message
