I am not sure that I understand the above comment. The string ""ImageSelection"" (within quotes) appears 3 times in the "SelectionServer" plugin code as distributed by Adobe. Next time I attempt to modify it, I will make sure to change all 3 incantations, to keep them in sync.
In essence what I have is the original SelectionServer and am making modifications carefully. Until yesterday, it still was "ADBE:" and I was able to do a lot of development. Now that I am somewhat satisfied with my code, I am daring to touch the file "SelectionServerInit.cpp".
